Speak with Yiz Pon in the Western Plains of Karana

Yiz Pon can be found on the side of a hill in The Western Plains of Karana at location 1331, -15069, 81.

You say, 'Hail, Yiz Pon'

Yiz Pon says 'Argh... The [beasts] are on my tail. They will find me soon... I gave them the [skull] and still they pursue me!'

You say, 'What skull?'

Yiz Pon says 'The skull of Wun Toque! I have found it. And have learned the location of its eyes! But now the [beasts] have it and I must flee...'

You say, 'What beasts?'

Yiz Pon says 'Here... No time left... Take this please... My brother [Hyrill] is staying in [Freeport]. Please... Ugh... Must keep moving...'

Receive a Torn Parchment which reads:

Hyrill, My search for the Eyes has led me deep within the lair of the Splitpaw Clan. I have seen the Eye of Wun! A vicous gnoll they call Kurrpok, wears the eye around his neck. But alas, I have fallen captive. As fate would have it, I shared my cell with a fellow collector. Before they ate him he told me where I might hoep to find the Eye of Toque. Investigate a troll by the name of Lynuga. I have a plan to escape my captors, but chances of success are slim. If my plan fails, and you somehow find this, continue mmy search. The Skull must not fall into the wrong hands. Your brother, Yiz.

Around this point, A Splitpaw Assassin will spawn and attack Yiz Pon. Kill A Splitpaw Assassin. Depending on how fast you are, you may have time to ask Yiz Pon a few more questions before A Splitpaw Assassin appears, but he is too focused on those he is fleeing to spend more time speaking with you.

You say, 'Who is Hyrill?'

Yiz Pon says 'There is no time... must keep moving... ugh.'

You say, 'Where in Freeport?'

Yiz Pon says 'There is no time... must keep moving... ugh.'

You'll know that A Splitpaw Assassin is close when you hear him.

A Splitpaw assassin shouts 'You cannot escape the claws of Splitpaw!'

Yiz Pon says 'He has found me! Help meeeeeee!'

A Splitpaw Assassin attacks Yiz Pon.

Yiz Pon says 'Leave me be! I have friends all over the Commonlands who will avenge me!'

Kill A Splitpaw Assassin and loot the Hollow Skull container.

Receive the following faction hits Split Paw Clan negative, Guards of Qeynos positive, Blackburrow negative, Karana Residents positive.

Find Hyrill Pon in West Freeport

Hyrill Pon can be found in the Hogcaller's Inn of West Freeport at location -171, -534, -24.

You say, 'Hail, Hyrill Pon'

Hyrill Pon says 'What do you want? Leave me be! Can't a man [drown his sorrows] in peace!?'

You say, 'Why does he drown his sorrows?'

Hyrill Pon says 'I can buy my own drinks, thank you. Now, leave me alone.'

You say, 'I have a letter for you from your brother Yiz Pon.'

Hyrill Pon says 'My brother Yiz?! That worthless hunk of orc dung... Last I heard, he was still searching for those [blasted eyes].'

You say, 'What blasted eyes?'

Hyrill Pon says 'That is none of your business, bub!'

Give Hyrill Pon the Torn Parchment.

Hyrill Pon says 'Peh! He thinks this old skull he found is a legendary skull of Wun Toque. It is said, a wizard who possesses one is granted power and intelligence far beyond those of his peers. Yiz was searching for the skull's missing ruby eyes. It seems he found the location of the first eye. Hmm... Lynuga... Lynuga... I think I have heard that name before... Yeah! Now I remember. I met her in the Foreign Quarter of Neria... um... Highpass Hold. She was there trying to hawk some stolen gems! I think she mumbled something about going home to Grobb. I sure don't have time to track her down.'

Kill Lynuga in Innothule Swamp

Lynuga can be found wandering the Innothule Swamp up the eastern zone wall and near location -181, -340, -17.

Kill Lynuga until you can loot a Large Ruby.

Kil Kurrpok Splitpaw in The Lair of Splitpaw

Kurrpok Splitpaw can be found in The Lair of Splitpaw at location 1177, 113, 5. One he spawns he will be executed fairly quickly so be sure to beat him to the kill. Kurrpok Splitpaw 's death spawns Zixx Nenix (for pre-revamp Infected Paw), who casts some nasty spells, so be ready for him.

Kill Kurrpok Splitpaw until you can loot the Ruby Pendant.

Place the Ruby Pendant and the Large Ruby in the Hollow Skull and combine.

Receive a Jeweled Skull.

Find Hyrill Pon in West Freeport

Give Hyrill Pon the Jeweled Skull.

Hyrill Pon says 'You found it!? My sap of a brother was right after all! I sure don't want that thing. It sends shivers down my spine just holding it. Here. Take it!'

Receive XP, Faction Commons Residents positive, The Freeport Militia positive, Knights of Truth positive, Priests of Marr positive and the Jeweled Skull.

If you hand Hyrill Pon the Jeweled Skull again, he keeps the skull.
